general description

You play Dirk the Daring, an adventurous knight who must save Daphne from the clutches of Singe, the Evil Dragon. A Laser Disc game from Rick Dyer and Don Bluth, Dragon's Lair required the player to direct Dirk through various obstacles of the Singe's castle.

about this version

Dragon's Lair was the most successful Laser Disc game, and one of the most collectible games today. During its initial release, it attracted so much attention that many arcades installed a T.V. on top of the game so that on-lookers could see Dirk in action. And although you were given 5 lives for 50 cents, most new plays would finish their game very quickly.

You control Dirk with a 4-way joystick and a sword button.

*NOTE: Dimensional Weight (also know as "Dim Weight") is an industry standard formula used by shipping companies. The calculation is used to determine how much space a package will take up. Most shipping rates are calculated based on Dim Weight or actual weight, whichever is greater. The formula for Dim Weight is (L" x W" x D")/194. The examples shown here show the actual dimensional weight for the game, and then given an estimated shipping dimensional weight assuming that 5" of packing material is needed in each dimension. Your actual results may vary.
