general description

Typical of most early Williams games, Joust features great game play and in this case an odd storyline. The player plays as a knight on an ostrich in a Joust matching against other Knights. Defeating enemy Jousters is simple: just be sure to be higher than they are when you hit them. The game is one of the few classics to include simultaneous game play with two players.

about this version

The game’s cabinet is of Williams’ finest. It features artwork of a Knight on his steed (ostrich). The marquee is a wonderful illustration of the game as well. Four years after its release Williams released a sequel to Joust: Joust 2: Survival of the Fittest. The game is rather difficult to find with game play regarded by most as sub par compared to Joust.

*NOTE: Dimensional Weight (also know as "Dim Weight") is an industry standard formula used by shipping companies. The calculation is used to determine how much space a package will take up. Most shipping rates are calculated based on Dim Weight or actual weight, whichever is greater. The formula for Dim Weight is (L" x W" x D")/194. The examples shown here show the actual dimensional weight for the game, and then given an estimated shipping dimensional weight assuming that 5" of packing material is needed in each dimension. Your actual results may vary.
